Solution for the error- "The cash account for the entered currency is not available" in DOP Finacle


  • In general most of the cases while accepting the deposits through cash we will face the error "Error-The Cash account for the entered currency is not available".
  • However transfer transactions will work smoothly as the teller cash account will not be involved for transfer transactions.
  • The error will occur when we are accepting the deposits through cash i..e, in CTM/CRDP/PPF menus as shown in the below figure


  • From the above screen shot it is clear the error took place while accepting the cash in RD scheme using the menu CRDP.

Root cause of the Problem.

  • Cash account problem will arrive in general when the cash account is linked to the teller while user transfer or creation.

Solution for the above problem

  • When such error occurs report the matter to CPC along with the following details
  1. Send the user id for which the cash account problem exists
  2. Send the SOL ID of the user
  3. Send the error screen shot of the user.
  • Then CPC will communicate with CEPT-User ID team and arrange to link the cash account to the teller.
  • After confirmation from CPC login and perform the cash transactions.
