Finacle DESKTOP SETTING FOR WINDOWS 8 and above

his is regarding Internet Explorer setting for Finacle for OS Windows 8 & above. We are getting several mails from circles and tickets are also being raised.

Kindly follow steps in attached documents for Finacle IE settings followed by subsequent steps

1. Please uninstall current Java version ( 32 bit only) and install Java version 7 update 21 provided with Infy Certificate as a part of prerequisite installation. After that you may allow to upgrade to latest version. 

2. After completion of  IE settings add indiapost.gov.in in compatible view settings

HTTUME Issue resolved for posting of salries/pension uploads in DOP Finacle

This is regarding the usage of HTTUME menu for Salary/Pension Upload.

Circles/POs reported error in HTTUME menu during processing of Salary/Pension in encrypted format. Issue has been resolved and relevant patches have been deployed.

It is requested to kindly instruct HOs to use ENCRYPTED FILE format only for uploading SALARY/PENSION from the month of May 2018 .

Kindly revert in case of issues/errors if any along with relevant screenshots and ticket number.

Criteria for seeding of bulk aadhar with POSB Account through Script

This is regarding bulk seeding of AADHAAR through script at centralised CEPT point. Many an instances have been noticed that sub offices and Head Offices are directly referring cases to CEPT for uploads, which contains small number of accounts.

CEPT centralised team will be helping in seeding AADHAAR if the following criteria met:

1. The data should be in the prescribed template in the CSV format 
2. The number of data should be atleast 20000 
3. CEPT will be coordinating only with Circle SPOCs 
4. CEPT will not entertain direct correspondence with Sub Offices and HPOs directly 

CEPT after processing the details through script, will share the success and failure reports of seeding with the circle SPOCs.

Handling emails directly from SOs / HPOs will be updated through an automated reply to direct through Circle SPOCs.

Procedute to Link indiapost mail ID with Microsoft Outlook for getting unlimited space

1. Open Outlook program from Microsoft office from start option.

2. click on next

3. would you like to configure email account--> click on yes --> Next

4. Click on manually configure server setting --> Next

5. Click on Internet Email --> Next

6. Your Name - enter name of office e.g- Nagpur GPO

7.E-mail Address- xxxxxxxx@indiapost.gov.in

8. Incoming mail server- outlook.indiapost.gov.in

9. Outcoming mail server- outlook. indiapost.gov.in

10.User name- xxxxxxxx@indiapost.gov.in

11. Password- ***** email id Password

12. Click on More setting

13. click on outgoing server tab- check on My outgoing server require authentication

14. Click on advance tab- Incoming server- 995 , check on This server require encrypted connection, Outgoing server- 465

15. check all on delivery option- select days 10

16. Click on ok --> Next

17. if certificate message comes--> YES

18. Enjoy outlook

19. to send email - click on new.
