Procedure to find out existing cif id from aadhar in DOP Finacle

Recently in DOP we came to know that aadhar seeding validation placed for CIF ids which means that if the customer is already existing customer of DOP and linked with aadhar then while creation of new cif id system will throw an error "Already aadhar linked with CIF id".
In short we can say that duplication of aadhar is not accepted by the DOP Finacle application.
Most of us having the doubt how to trace the cif id with Aadhar number ?
The answer to the above question is explained below. Actually there are 2 ways to trace the Aadhar linked cif id they are menitoned below.

Method 1 :- By using the menu HCUDET

1. Invoke menu HCUDET.
2. Click on the 🔍 icon near CIF ID field. A pop-up window will open.
3. Give Document type as AADHAR and fill Unique ID with the adhar number.
4. Click Submit. system will show CIF ID corresponding to the provided Aadhar no.

Method 2 :- By using the menu CMRC

1. Invoke the menu CMRC

2. Click on the 🔍 icon near CIF ID field. A pop-up window will open.

3. Remove the field set id i.e., make the set id column as blank

4. Enter the Aadhar number in the unique id column.

5. Click on submit then system will show CIF id corresponding to the entered Aadhar number.

Important instructions for all the POSB users :-

By using the above procedure if the CIF id is traced then use the menu HCCA and merge all the accounts with that CIF id.
Only PPF accounts can't be merged with SB account cif id as there is issue in the DOP Finacle application. For this case preferably and only solution available at present is merge the PPF account CIF ID with SB account.
If the new CIF id is created and forgotten to note it then try to trace using CDEDUP if not found kindly raise the ticket in service desk portal then infosys team will share the CIF id.
In some cases users entered the Aadhar number in the unique id column during creation of CIF id using the menu CCRC. The problem is we can't get aadhar number using CICD menu.
Hence all the users are requested to enter the aadhar number in the document details field only then only system will show CIF details in CICD menu
