Solution for the NSC/KVP discharge error- "No Records fetched" in DOP Finacle
Solution for the NSC/KVP discharge error- "No Records fetched" in DOP Finacle
- Generally in DOP Finacle we will close the NSC/KVP accounts using the menu CSCCAAC for closing the certificates individually
- For bulk closure we have separate option i..e., CNSBCV but we have to use this menu for matured accounts and also for transfer transactions only. This menu should not be used for cash transactions
- For detailed step by step procedure to use CNSBCV users can CLICK HERE
- But sometimes when we close the NSC/KVP system will throw the error "No Records fetched" in DOP Finacle
- The error screen shot will be a shown in the below figure
- The system is clearly showing the error as mentioned when we close the NSC/KVP accounts in DOP Finacle
Root cause of the above Problem :-
- The above error will occur in one of the following below mentioned cases they are listed below for the ease of viewers
- When the counter PA already closed the NSC/KVP account but forgot to cancel/verify the same account and again if counter PA try to close the same account then the system will throw the above error.
- When the counter PA merges the cif id of NSC/KVP account with respective SB account of the customer and if the counter PA try to close the NSC/KVP account with old cif id then the system will throw the same error as mentioned above.
- When the counter PA closed the certificate using the menu CSCCAAC/CNSBSCV menu and if the same was cancelled using the menu HCAACVTD then the system will throw the same error as mentioned above.
Solution for the above Problem :-
- Solution for the point number (1) mentioned above is that check in HAFI menu whether counter PA attempted closure or not, if the closure done but not verified then we have to cancel or verify the account closure which was done earlier.
- Solution for the point number (2) mentioned above is that after CIF merging then counter PA has to close the NSC/KVP account with SB cif id only. If you want to know the cif id for a particular account then check in HACCDET menu.
- Solution for the point number (3) mentioned above is that when counter PA closed in CSCCAAC/CNSBCV menu then cancel using the same menu.We should not cancel using the menu HCAACVTD
