Solution for the RD closure error - "Closure failed for undefined reason OR Scheme validation failed" in DOP Finacle

Generally in DOP we will use the menu CRDCAAC for closure of RD account in DOP Finacle.
In general RD account can be closed prematurely after completion of 3 years only i.e., there is lock in period of 3 years in DOP.
But in case of matured accounts i..e, after completion of 5 years customer has the option to extend the account for another 5 years
In DOP Finacle for extension of RD accounts we will use the menu PRDCM.

Even in the extension period customer has the option to close the RD account any time.
But sometimes when we close the RD account in counter PA login using the menu CRDCAAC we will get the error "Closure failed for undefined reason OR Scheme validation failed" in DOP Finacle.
The error screen shot will be as shown in the below figure

From the above screen shot it is clear that the system is showing the said error while closing the RD account.

Root cause of the above problem:-

The above problem will arise when the user entered the repayment account id as customer SB account and if the entered SB account id is Dormant(Silent account).
In a Dormant account the system will not accept the transactions hence in this case also system will throw the said error when we try to credit the closure amount to Dormant account.

In order to solve the above problem we have to enter the repayment account id as any other account or make the Dormant account as Active account.
In order to make the Dormant account to Active counter PA can modify using the menu CASBAM and make the account status as Active and finally submit. After modification verify the same in the supervisor login.
After this step user can use the repayment account id as that active SB account then the system will not throw any error during closure of RD account.
