Solution for RD account opening error-"A. CMSG000292 - Debit Account is having -ve Balance" in DOP Finacle

• When we try to open an RD account using the transfer mode sometimes we will get the error-"A. CMSG000292 - Debit Account is having -ve Balance".
• The error will appear as shown in  the below figure

• From the above figure it is clear that transfer account is having the balance in -ve i.e., from the above figure it is clear that debit account is having the balance in -85000/-. Hence the system is showing the error.

Root Cause of the Above Problem:- 

• The above problem will appear when the debit account is not having the sufficient funds generally this error will occur when we try to debit the office account SOLID+0382. When the said office account is having the balance in -ve the above error will occur.

Solution for the Above Problem:- 

• Either the given debit account need to be funded enough to debit or use any other account which is having enough credit balance to debit.
• In our example we have to fund the account SOLID+0382 or if any posting is pending we have to clear the cheque posting and then only proceed for account opening.
• We can inquire the office account balance SOLID+0382 using the menu HACLINQ before opening an account. This is for kind information.
