This is regarding the issues faced in renewal of SCSS accounts which have been opened under SCSCM category for customer below 60 years of age. We are getting several tickets /references on the above issue from CPCs.
As SCSS accounts are not covered under auto-renewal, SOLs may face issue in renewing these accounts if SCSS are opened in SCSCM schemes for customers below 60 years of age. In order to avoid public complaints, till such time patch is deployed for this issue, it is suggested to transfer these accounts to the concerned schemes SCVRS/SCDEF PRIOR TO MATURITY.
List of such accounts are attached for reference. CPCs are requested to kindly circulate the same to concerned Pos for effecting SCHEME TRANSFER immediately.
Accounts which are already matured has to handled on a case to case basis, till permanent solution is available.
