CSAC and CRESET for System Administrator

CSAC and CRESET for System Administrator:-

  • Most of the times in Finacle we face some login issues when we are working due to network failure or incorrect password entered by the user.
  • In Finacle the menus which starts with "C" stands for customized menus only for DOP where which starts with "H" stands for Hyperlink which is a common menu in Finacle.
  •  Also for some menus in Finacle user restrictions are given in order to overcome the misuse for different kind of menus as per the recommendations given by the DOP at the time of agreement.
  • CSAC and CRESET are only customized and permitted to use only for System Administrators.   
Prerequisites for using these menus are:-
  1. Logout from the Finacle for the user who are facing login problem
  2. Delete the browsing the history by clicking on Tools------>Delete browsing history.

CSAC:-

This menu is used when any user is facing the problem "User already logged in" issue due to the following reasons:-
  • If the user closes the browser without clicking on logout i.e., improper closing of browser.
  • If any problem in the network or central server then the system will display the error while working.
  • Sometimes even session expired but improperly also leads to same problem.

 In the above cases the user id need to SAC by the system administrator by invoking the menu CSAC then the system will ask to enter the user id and then submit.


CRESET:-

If the user enters the password wrongly for 3 consecutive times then the system throws an error "maximum attempts are reached user id is locked" then in this case invoke the menu CRESET from the system administrator login enter the user id and submit.

Lastly there is one more case where user forgets the password, in this case both menus will not work we have to contact concern SPOC/CPC to reset the password for that corresponding user as mentioned earlier menus are restricted in Finacle not to misuse.
